Cannes Fashion! Cannes Film Festival 2008! Fashion!
Cannes Fashion! Cannes Film Festival 2008!
The Cannes Film Festival always features the biggest stars in the world and while the movies bring them together, their red carpet style sets them apart. Gillian Anderson
Towering heads and floral-shoulders above the crowd was Cate Blanchett, who only gave birth one month ago. Seriously. Her Armani Prive gown kicked everyone else's coutured ass while also setting the style benchmark for the remainder of the festival.

Also making notable red carpet appearances, despite the fact they're not in any Cannes featured films, were Eva Longoria and Mischa Barton. Both ladies got the goddess memo and went for long and flowing.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Lucy Lui, Jack Black
Natalie Portman, who is a member of the Cannes jury this year, continued to push the purple agenda in a short, sexy sheath. But seeing as this is just day one, expect much more from this fashion free-for-all in the coming days.
