Celebrities in corsets
Corsets were invented in France in the 16th century and were originally quilted waistcoats, worn by French women as an alternative to stiff corsets or stays.
They were only quilted linen, laced in the front, and un-boned. This garment was worn on informal occasions, while stays were worn for court dress. By the end of the century stays fell out of fashion and were fully replaced by corsets.
Later corsets became hugely popular with men but they claimed they weren’t wearing them for aesthetic purposes but rather to soothe back pain.
A lot of celebrities love corsets.
Now the corset is a piece of stylish view.

2009 MET Costume Institute Gala - Blue dresses
This year’s charity event co-hosted by Kate Moss, Marc Jacobs, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and Justin Timberlake, was a fab one.
Wall-to-wall crowded with celebs, it showed some hot style and some fashion faux pas too.
What I’d like to focus on is blue dress fashion at 2009 MET Costume Institute Gala, as many big names turned to this color. From light blue to midnight blue, enjoy the blue dress celebrities of “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday!
First of all, I’m in love with Gisele Bundchen’s deep blue mini dress. The sequined gown stressed the supermodel’s long legs and drop-dead gorgeous body.
Katy Perry made her fashion debut at Costume Institute Gala this year. I loved her bright blue dress and cuff bracelet.

Katy Perry style
Katy Perry’s life, and her personal life experience play a significant role for her as a songwriter. They stand behind her smashing hits like ‘Ur So Gay’ or ‘I Kissed A Girl.’
Katy Perry is often described as a very easy-going person, a “loudmouth” and “delightful company.”
Katy is known for her unconventional style of dress, often humoristic, bright in color and reminiscent of different decades, as well as her frequent use of fruit-shaped accessories as part of her outfits. In one of the recent interviews she confessed she likes makeup, clothes and likes having everyone’s attention. She loves big displays of sequins and color.

Emma Watson hangs out with the 'bad girls' at Paris Fashion Week
But yesterday Harry Potter star Emma Watson was pictured hanging out with the 'bad girls' at Paris Fashion Week.
The 18-year-old actress was sat in the front row watching the Christian Dior Ready-to-Wear collection show, next to none other than Lily Allen, Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry.
Renowned for her outbursts, Lily hit the headlines recently after telling Elton John to 'f** off' during an on-stage rant as she co-presented the GQ Awards.
And in another far cry from Watson's clean-cut image, Dita is known for her sexy burlesque dance routines and former relationship with goth-rocker Marilyn Manson who she was married to between 2005 and 2007.
It was also notable that Watson, who is currently working on the final instalment of the Harry Potter films, sat slightly inclined away from I Kissed A Girl singer Katy Perry.
Perhaps she was avoiding the possibility of Katy planting a smacker on her cheek.
Watson is becoming a familiar face on the fashion circuit and looked stylish in a classy grey belted coat and vertiginous black lace-up boots.
She has signed up to the Storm agency which also represents Kate Moss, Carla Bruni and Lily Cole.
The young actress, said to be heading for university post-Potter, could find herself in demand as a cover girl instead.
