Glam factor heats up at the Emmy Awards 2008

Sweeping gowns, jewelled metallic accents and soft, feminine waves took the Emmy fashion factor to the limit. From Heidi Klum's stunning off-the-shoulder metallic gown to Brooke Shield's drop-dead fuchsia winner Hollywood's hotties turned the 2008 Emmy show into a glam slam.

Black magic: "Grey's Anatomy" star Sandra Oh stole the show in a classic black lace beauty from Oscar de la Renta.

Flower power: "Ugly Betty" star Vanessa Williams looked hot and haute in a Kevin Hall mermaid gown splashed with black and pink flowers.
Belle of the ball: "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross pumped up the red carpet glam in a pale green strapless gown by Elie Saab.

Party spirit: "Ghost Whisperer" star Jennifer Love Hewitt made a classic Emmy entrance in a black-and-white strapless gown by Carolina Herrera.

Man of the hour: Ryan Seacrest can do it all it seems on Emmy night, even turn out an A-plus fashion statement in a tuxe by Yves St. Laurent.
