This is the Pamela look that Alexis has been creating for the past 10 years. She used the same products for the Kid Rock video.
Skin Prep
Cleanser- Borghese Cleansing Cream
Moisturizer- Clarins Moisture Quenching Hydra-Balance Crème.
Eye Cream - Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair Cream
Lips – The Body Shop Lip Balm in any flavor, especially if lips are dry. Blot lip balm before starting make-up.
Makeup
Foundation- Christian Dior CN101 Liquid Makeup mixed with Alexis Vogel foundation in Summer Kiss to match Pamela’s overall skin color. For her body make-up, Alexis likes to mix the Dior foundation with Sex Symbol Aero-tan Tanning Spray for a quick and beautiful bronze with a bit of gold shimmer to it.
Concealer – Alexis Vogel in Vanish with a dot of Senna Minimal Concealer in Medium on top. Lancome Dual Finish Powder in Matte Porcelain D'Ivoire is applied under the eye area to set and smooth concealer.
Powder - AV mineral powder in Mirage and a touch of Ben Nye Topaz (if she is really tan). For extra sizzle and a touch of shimmer, Alexis dusts on some MAC powder in Golden Bronze.
Cheeks - La Femme Russet blush topped off for the perfect natural glow with her own brand of blush in Fresh.
Brows - “I use my stencil so they are not too thin or too thick. It makes the shape just right and it is fast and goof-proof!” says Alexis. She uses Maybelline Light Brown pencil to define brows, which she says is a perfect soft warm color on blondes (Taupe tends to be too grey and Blonde pencils are usually too light). Brows are set with powder and Alexis Vogel’s Brow Gel.
Under Brow – Alexis Vogel Eyelites in Sugar or Sprinkles are applied on the brow bone to highlight the brow. For Pamela’s shine and shimmer, apply the colors “wet” on the front inner upper eyelid. Applying them wet helps it stay on longer too.
Eyes :
Eye Liner - Maybelline Waterproof Liquid has major staying power. For a more subtle liner, she suggests the Alexis Vogel cake liner. She sometimes starts with the cake liner and if Pamela wants what they call “Super GlamPam” then she applies the liquid on top of the cake. This is all crease and smear-proof. Place your index finger at the end of you eyebrow and gently stroke liner down towards your lashes, going from a thicker line at the outer corner and getting thinner as you go inward. As a special touch, Alexis sometimes uses Bloom Lagoon # 0255 as an accessory to the make-up.She takes a small amount of the shadow wet and applies it with a liner brush thinly on the inner bottom eye on top of, or over the smoky smudgy liner. Don’t do the whole eye, just half way (on the inner part of the eyes) along the eye on top and bottom. This shimmer adds just a hint of softness amongst all the serious cat eye makeup. You can also do it to the inner upper eyelid gently so you don't go through the already applied black liners.
Lashes - “Get a good lash curler and go to town curling those babies up, up and away!” suggests Alexis. She starts with the Alexis Vogel Lash Set/Lock Conditioner and then curls lashes. After curling lashes, she applies Demi Wispies false lashes in black. Followed by a second pair. Any brand will do as long as they are full, fluffy and cat shaped. The second pair is always a thick lash that starts shorter from the front and gets long towards the outer ends of the lashes (short to longer in shape). You can find these lashes at any beauty supply (they don’t always have a name, usually just a number).
Eye Shadow - After liner and lashes, draw a soft smudgy line from the front corner to the end of your lash line along the bottom lashes with the Alexis Vogel Chubby Pencil in Muse. Then over that use the Bloom Eye shadow pencil in Spy to line the bottom eye. Then apply eye shadow in Masquerade (a color from the Alexis Evening Out Mini Eye Kit created for Pam). Some other fave colors that you can use for this look are MAC Club Satin, NARS Night Flight, and Paula Dorf Eye Glimmer in Mambo. With an eyeliner brush apply the shadow against your smudged line for a soft smoky look. Then apply shadow from the bottom corner continuing up into the top eyeliner, connecting the top and bottom eyeliners (like a sideways V). Stay in the creases and go from the outer end of the crease to the inner. To really pop your eyes out like Pam, use NARS Glitter Area pencil in Black #B24 to line the inner rim of your lower lids and fill in the inside of upper lid where the hair grows (unless you have sensitive eyes). It pops the eye color and makes the white look brighter.
Mascara – “Always use black mascara for the Pammie eyes,” says Alexis. Some of their faves are The Bourjois Longeur Sublime Mascara Extra in Black, Maybelline Great Lash, Lancome Definicils and Alexis Vogel Curly Mascara.
Lips - Chanel in Beach or Cashmere for the lipstick. (Alexis Vogel lip color stays on all day in Pucker or Smooch). When lining lips, stay in the warm tones so it looks more natural. Any of these will work: Alexis Vogel liner in Chili, Dior lip pencil Terrecuite #433 Earth, Joe Blasco Earth, Ultima II in Chocolate, CC #269 Natural Lip Liner. Two great colors Alexis recommends are La Femme Honey Chiffon Ice and Urban Decay in Burn Out.Top off lips with Bourjois 3D Gloss in #69 and her own handmade gloss called Bliss.
